Leo Rojas has gained a great reputation as one of Argentina’s most innovative young DJ\Producers by fusing his DJ sets with live musicians and stunning visuals. He brings this sense of adventure to his Monad Music debut Dark Streets which is a prime time slice of Progressive mayhem. The remix duties are skillfully handled by Camillo and Valandi Pangea.

Original Mix :

The original mix of Dark Streets is as the name suggests both dark and dangerous. It starts with tight punchy percussion and a filtered bass line that opens out to devastating effect this is followed by some menacing melodies and arpeggios that have enough twists and turns to keep you hooked right up to the final beat.

Camillo Remix :

Fellow Argentinean Camillo comes up trumps with his Tribal Tech House interpretation of Dark Streets. This mix hits the dance floor head on with a fluid bouncing bass beats combination and rich warm melodic elements that are guaranteed to make even the most discerning crowd move as one.

Valandi Pangea Mix :

Greek born DJ\Producer Valandi Pangea takes the dark edginess of the original and ramps it up a few notches. The track is packed full of raw energy with twisted beats, discordant stabs and an abrasive insistent bass line that winds the tension to such a degree that it might just explode at any minute.

Australian DJ\Producer Fulcrum aka Gavin Martin has been a permanent feature on Melbourne’s renowned Festival and Party scene since 1996. He has played alongside most of the big names Progressive House DJs including Digweed, Seaman, and Pappa and this has naturally influenced his own musical style which he describes as diverse, blending elements of deep evolving progressive, techno & house sounds with intelligent atmospherics with an ear on forward-thinking sonics. This pretty much sums up his two track Monad Music debut Stasis and Magnet.

Magnet (Original) :

Magnet is a quality slice of Deep Progressive House that will work equally well mid set in a big room or on your car stereo. It is intelligently constructed around a bouncing hypnotic groove and rolling bass line that compliment dark atmospheric elements and filtered stabs and synths.

Stasis (Original) :

Stasis is a peak time Progressive House monster that will take your dance floor on a trip to the dark side. That track is bristling with raw energy that is created by dark throbbing percussion, a deep pulsing single note bass line, and layer after layer of twisted synth arpeggios that make way breathy vocal chants.
